Temporal displacement of the shoreline. This work uses generative algorithms to project the future of coastal cities, merging satellite imagery with rising sea-level models to document disappearing edges.
The map is shrinking faster than we can print it, leaving communities to improvise against a tide engineered by extraction and then abandoned by design. Concrete walls cannot fill the gap where political will was withheld.
